Course overview

This lesson will make you aware of your, and your employer’s, responsibilities for complying with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). You will learn about protected health information (PHI), situations in which you may disclose PHI, and the actions you and your employer must take in response to a HIPAA violation.
